1st Generation: 1962 - 7 July Affair
- The 7th. July is one of the historical significant dates in our Burmese modern period, in which
the military rulers had cold-bloodedly massacred hundreds of university students in the campus alone 39 years ago.
- 7th July 1962 is the significant day in our struggle for restoration of Democratic Government for our country. Many of our
colleagues fellow students had sacrifies their lives.
2nd Generation: 1974 - U Thant Affair
- 1974 Generation, we disobeyed "Ne Win" and we students from all over Universities staged a big demonstration on account of
United Nation General Secretary U Thant. Engineering students build the Tomb
for U Thant at the Student Union Building sites . Many had sacrificed their lives, those lives on has pains never go away.
3rd Generation: 1988 - Peoples' uprising
