Please join BADA and community members on Sunday September 8th for the 39th annual Solano Stroll to raise awareness about Burma.

For six years, we have marched in this historic street fair, raising awareness about the struggle for human rights and democracy in Burma. Hundreds of thousands of people attend the Solano Stroll, which features vendors, carnival rides, street-food, art, performances, and community organizations.

This year, we will be marching through the twin-cities of Berkeley and Albany to raise awareness about two issues: Land Grabs, and the constitution amendment before the 2015 elections in Burma.

Freedom and democracy are still far from the reality for the people of Burma and we need your support to make their voices heard!

We will be marching in the morning parade with flags and banners. We will also have a booth where we will distribute educational materials about Burma, and action items related to land grabs and the 2015 elections.

We need volunteers to march in the parade and help with the booth! Please sign up to volunteer here.
